Who we are

Our programs enable and support business leaders to build sustainable businesses that create ripples of success in their communities

You are not on your own

Many small to medium business leaders are physically and mentally isolated. Our capital cities have a wealth of support programs designed for face to face interaction and require a commitment to a city location and date.

All groei programs are designed to enable participation by a diverse range of businesses, particularly in regional areas.

Our goal is to reduce the failure rate for businesses and increase the employment rate wherever we run a course.  As educators we also want to provide a support network to ensue learning is not entertainment but can be easily applied, and can demonstrate a return on your investment.

groei program's

utilise the expertise of coaches and facilitators to help apply best practice business knowledge. The groei flagship growth program is a combination of online coaching and online peer group sessions. You will also be placed into a learning pod of six non-competing business leaders within a broader cohort.  All attendees will also engage at face to face workshops on strategy, planning and key small business management routines. You will have access to curated learning content that is specific to your business needs right now.

groei programs provide SMB’s access to cutting edge content, knowledge experts, relevant tools and a support network for shared learning for business leaders. Our holistic approach integrates embedded learning, best practice and a support network within their business.

“None of us is as smart as all of us” Ken Blanchard

Our programs support our need to be human at work: to belong, to learn, to do, to create, to grow, to improve, and to interact with other people. groei programs leverage the need in people to support each other to do great things together and so lead more rewarding lives at work and business.

groei summit 2020

The focus of the groei summit is to offer SMB’s a curated event specifically to bring together thought leaders educators and like minded business people interested in growing their enterprises. The program offers a space to work to solve common challenges through curated meetings and conversations and other resources to encourage innovation and take action.

The groei growth program

groei is the only business education program designed for growing small businesses. It combines theory with applied practice and individual and peer coaching to ensure implementation. It measures your progress and benchmarks your business providing a clear pathway for personalised learning. Our program is;

  • on demand – you can access our tools and refresh and supplement the program curriculum with key expert resources at any time online
  • guided – our groei coaches and facilitators ensure you are working with the material and embedding it into your business so it works
  • actionable – all the learning is structured, simple and ready to use.
  • personal – while the course is structured your coach will ensure the program is tailored to suit your circumstances. In addition, each leader will build a groei compass to follow and guide their growth.
  • suits different learning styles – we know not everyone learns the same way or at the same pace. groei programs incorporate the best of adult education and neuroscience techniques to make sure we suit everyone.

How much time will I need?

Four hours of online contact time a month over two sessions. However to get the most out of the program and implement the learning you’ll need to do some work. We’d suggest you might want to work on (rather than in) your business in between each session during the course for another 4-6 hours. You can access our expert resources videos at any time once you’re a member of the course.

Or you can attend our intensive public programs for a day.

Is my business too small to benefit?

Business’ of any size will learn best practice on many levels completing the course. It is designed to help businesses with at least 5 staff, so you have a chance to get out of the day to day

What will I learn?

The program balances practical tools and information with help in implementation. It will help identify what you don’t know you don’t know.

  • Personal insight into yourself as a leader – how you operate under stress, clarify your values and your drivers
  • Practical tools focussing on yourself – wills, asset protection, cash management, credit management, communication skills, coaching skills, time management, stress and resilience
  • Strategic thinking, customer centricity and business model design
  • How to structure your team and manage staff
  • How to design and manage your processes
  • How to manage your cash and banking relationships
  • How to manage your business planning, routines, measures and accountability
  • And other insights from your peer group and personal leadership coach.

Do I need to bring a staff member?

It is critical you share the experience of the key workshop labs with at least one key staff member. It is an investment in their development and in holding yourself externally accountable for the changes the business needs to make. It also gives you and some of your team a common language which leverages the learning, and increases the intention to turn ideas into action.

What preparation will I need to do?

We will guide you through the preparation for the course in our initial one to one session with your groei coach.
